Clockworkmod from dhacker, I normally follow the steps the rom puts up and literally every compatible rom bootlooped. I'm on the kitkat bootloader and no I will not switch to twrp due to it not having sideload (from what I've heard).

I posted a easy recovery installer to switch to TWRP in my Omni tread. Easy as flipping a switch. Just place it on your internal or external storage and install it through current recovery. Reboot back into you current OS and when you go back into recovery it will be the latest TWRP. Make a backup of what yabgot since backups from CWR will not work on it. I can make one for CWR as well so if you want to switch back it can all be done through the recovery program on the go.

this is really odd. I got cyanogenmod working, updated to a new nightly and now my play store isn't working.

reverted back and now nothing even responds

cool

Ughm, you have to wipe /cache at least when you are switching ROMs, I had Gummy to bootloop on me for ages, when I tried to switch to it from CM, wiped /cache and problem was gone. But as recommended in every single manual/guide on how to flash ROMs you should do a "factory reset" by wiping /data and /cache.

This exact thing is happening to me on TWRP. Had to re-unlock using RSD Lite. Im back to rooted and unlocked but haven't installed a recovery because I have no clue whats going on. Flashify has 3 options, I used TWRP cuz im use to it, but the OP is having the same problem on CWM. I have never used Philz but at this point I don't think its a recovery problem. Im status code 3, root verified. Anyone have a clue what im doing wrong here?

BTW, I factory reset and wiped cache, data, dalvick, and system. This has happened on Validus 5.2 and CarbonROM.

Chances are that some source build roms are not using the new bootloader device tree and are still using the same tree they have always used since not everyone has updated to the recent update. Omni does boot and CM does as well on the new bootloader. On can downgrade and try those flavors if one wants to run them.
