You still haven't flashed the bootloader. I think it's something like emmc-??? Flashes to aboot partition Edit at this point your probably better off doing the whole update to kk Edit2: this could help http://www.droidrzr....NLY#entry445144 Go to the full post

Probably know the answer to this, but.... To update to the new nightly build of cm11 it says I need to update my bootloader. This means I just flash the boot.IMG from the 4.4 update right?

That may work, but I'd just do a full FXZ flash to KK and then flash the new TWRP version and go!

Would like to keep my current data and all from cm11 though. Wouldn't the fxz get rid of all my cm stuff?

There is a keep data script generated with this tool, can't guarantee what it will and won't safe with cm11. Samurai would be able to answer any questions you need, post it in that thread.

Yeah, the RSD generator tool is just for flashing FXZ updates. I tend to just fastboot flash those kinds of things over, anyway. Takes longer, but I've had issues with RSD. I'm assuming all I need is the correct 4.4 boot.img to get the CM11 update to flash correctly.

BUMP: tried just flashing boot.img from a 4.4 update, now I'm softbricked. What do?

EDIT: Flashed boot.img and NON-HLOS.bin from new update and the 4.4 version of CWM. Still stuck on "this package is for devices with 4.4 bootloader", but can't boot into system with current boot and modem images, can't get to system because I'm not sure if the 9.8.30 FXZ has the right kernel or anything for the version of Cyanogen I was moving from.

That will help for next time. Ended up just doing an FXZ flash and starting from scratch after manually backing up everything I wanted to keep. Thanks for the help though.
