Thanks my friends. I have successfully flashed 4.4.2 on my friend's maxxHD and disabled 69 bloats. If only I can root... But he doesn't cares about root, so that's OK for now.

Thanks again my friends...

Unless you took a soak update, you can unlock the bootloader, which will allow you to maintain root.

Unlocking BL possible, even after updating/flashing to 4.4.2??? He was already in (4.1.2 last) firmware, where BL unlock was blocked, I guess or I am missing something???

Yep, you're missing something.  There is a guide in this very forum about how to update, root, and unlock on the latest FW. ;)

The drdevs site is no more, and the motofirmware site was forced off line.  They were the only two that I knew of.

I guess I will have to try and finage them out of Verizon. If I can I will drop them on one of my sites and past a link here.
