On 182(kk), I'm not experiencing this issue on wifi. Right now that's the only way I'm using the RAZR. Will experiment later by putting my Sim in it to see if that makes any difference.I read review about kitkat for xt926, lot of them complaining bout wifi after update...is it true or just a rumour?they said yhat wifi able to detect wifi, but can not connect

I haven't had an issue with WiFi connecting. Works just fine. It does appear that the signal might be weaker in some areas where it wasn't before, but the latest soak test seems to fix that. However, you should unlock your bootloader before the new soak test becomes available. You won't be able to unlock it when the new soak test becomes available to everyone in the coming weeks.
But, upgrading to 183.46.10 gives you the ability to unlock you bootloader, so there's that. Then, if you don't like it, you can downgrade back to JB if you so desire.

Sam, do we need to run your script generator and flash the keep data script as before to restore to stock 4.4.2 or does the FXZ you provided with RSD flasher already take this into account?

Updated the OP to remove root instructions because root was in fact also patched in this update. Hence, I'm closing down shop on the unlock thread very very soon.

That was my bad on the root. I had flashed a custom boot image to remove the annoying popping noise that the KK OTA causes on some phones and that for some reason allowed Towelroot to work with the latest soak test. Once I went back to a complete stock soak test KK, after SamuriHL and Kaos stated Towelroot wasn't working, I then saw that it didn't work and I had to retrace my steps because I knew I had used Towelroot on the latest soak test. That's when I remembered that I had also flashed the custom boot image to remove the popping noise. So, when I then flashed that back and then tried Towelroot again under the latest soak test, it then worked.
So, that was my fault. Had too much going on with the soak test.
So, right now, your best and only option is to update to 183.46.10 (the first KK OTA) and unlock your bootloader now, as SamuriHL has stated. Do it now or forever hold your peace because root and unlocking the bootloader will be gone.
Of course, if you decided to take the latest soak test and apply it before unlocking, you're hosed, fubar'd, out of luck and for that, there is no going back.
As for me, I'm done with the soak and not seeing a reason to stay on it, I have now gone to the latest CM11 nightly release and loving it.
Oh, and TWRP and CM Recovery both work with the soak test. No need to go back to the previous KK OTA to flash CM11.
