My ear speaker is going bad again and I don't want to exchange it because mine is unlocked. I got a new speaker and the needed tools. Just wondering if anybody has done one already. I want to know if it's soldered or just pop the old one out and the new one in. Guess I'll find out anyway just want to be prepared.

The speaker assembly should be attached by a ribbon cable and 1 or 2 T-3 screws.....

Cool might take it on today. My circuit board solder kit is at work but if it's not needed should be home free.

Just got done can't believe how easy it was to do. Speaker is just held in with I tiny dab of glue on each end. Want sure what to use so used a tiny dab of super glue and worked good. Thanks.
