Hi,

this patch is great and everything works like a charm, when i downgraded to JB. Everything works on CM11 M8, but one thing didnt. I wasn't to able to connect to Wi-Fi. I've seen my WiFi, maybe for 10 times i typed a pass, but it didnt connect. Factory reset, wipe, install CM11 M7 didnt help, so boot back to KK, try type a pass to wifi and it works. What could be wrong, or how can i fix modem part because it seems that everything else works.

Thank you.

Tell you the truth. I own a xt926 not a xt907. The Flashback patch for both are relatively the same. I don't have service on my xt926 so I mainly use WiFi on it and never had this issue. Try loading up a stock base rom first to trigger the sensors on the WiFi, then load up a source build and see if that makes a difference.

As much as I thought I was an idiot before, I actually had the same WiFi problem on the cm11 snapshot, I just didn't try anymore ROMs and switched back to nightlies. When I get a moment I'll logcat my xt907 after flashback.

Sorry, but it didn't help. Try that but the result was same. So, I decided to take nightly on KK so hope that most of things will work. Thanks anyway.

I tried this and during the 1st step my screen went completely black and will not come back.  I guess I'm screwed. I am on 4.4.2 rooted and unlocked.  I've tried every key combination to no avail.  Any suggestions?  Totally bummed.

I tried disconnecting my battery and letting it sit for a while but to no avail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anything come up on your computer when you connect via USB? Make sure to check Device Manager if there's nothing appearing.

It tried to find a device drive but none was found.  It shows up as QHSUSB_DLOAD and that's it.

I guess it's also necessary to note that it's a XT926.  It's probably where I screwed up since this was for a 905.  But I figured if the OP was using a 926 it would work on mine.

Um no. You permanently bricked it. You can never flash files for other devices. The op is using a 926 yes... And posted the 926 files in the razr hd section.

I didn't see the link to those files.  Oh well, at least I have insurance.

Thanks Sam

If you guide your way to the xt926 tread you will see the identical post in the main development tread. Even though both devices share the same source Rom builds the internal files of the flashback are designed for the device I posted them in. Its makes me sad to see this happen but that is why I put in both post read read and read again before attempting this....

Chalk it up to inexperience.  I'm still learning.  I've got another phone coming on Tuesday.  Hopefully I can at least root it and try again.  Correctly this time.

I used this to flash back to jb and installed pac rom. I tried to flash a different rom after and for some reason the recovery keeps saying can't mount system. Why won't it let me flash a different rom?

You have got to give just a bit more information then just that. Both recoveries have full capibities of mounting the system. What stuff did you do before installing the ROM?

I followed the instructions to the letter to flash back and install a rom on jb. After that I decided to try a different rom, I originally flashed pac rom with PA 4.4.2 gapps BTW. Rebooted into recovery which was the twrp included in flashback 2.7.0.0 I believe. I did a factory reset and wiped cache and dalvik. Then tried to flash another rom for jb and I keep getting a failed message. I read back through and find out it failed to mount system that's why it failed.

When you wipe and factory reset are you double checking that system has a check mark in the mounts. Trust me when I say. This processes is so easy the little things like mounts get over looked... You have control over it..

Yeah and isn't checked and even when I do check it it won't stay selected. Still says failed to mount and when I check again it's still not checked

What ROM are you trying to install?

I installed pac rom 6/19 nightly and I'm trying to install gummy 4/16 release. Both are for jb bootloader.
