Hello all! Great site! I am somewhat of a noob but i have done TONS and TONS of reading and learned many things. I am running rage 2.8 on my razr maxx and use it as a daily driver. I bought a galaxy nexus that always got stuck on "android start screen". I was told that "it just doesnt hold a charge and needs a new battery". For 60 bucks, I said o.k. Well, after fooling around and learning things about the nexus, I may have bricked it. I literally can't do ANYTHING with it. No bootstrap, I cant use odin, I cant get into download mode. I have tried every button combo and remove battery resets. Nothing comes up but a picture of a white phone, 2 dots, a yellow triangle, 2 dots, then a computer. That is all that shows up no matter what I do. I have Keis installed with the appropriate drivers for this. My computer doesnt recognize it and wont let me update drivers when I try to force the drivers in (Win XP). I tried a post I read on XDA to "force" it by adding new hardware, but that didnt work. Odin does recognize it in a comm port though, (i.e. 007). I ordered a USB jig in hopes of forcing it into DL mode and try odin again. Sorry for long post but I am trying to be as accurate as I can. I really love this hobby and want to get this working and rooted for my wife. I know this is an old phone, but I saw BDH used a nexus and maybe someone can help. FYI: I dont know what version it was running (Android), but it is for Verizon and before all this I was able to unlock it using nexus toolkit. It was locked, but now unlocked. I literally only get that phone-triangle-computer image no matter what I do. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
