I was flashing a new rom in TWRP last night. 

on reboot the phone gets stuck on the new boot logo.

 

I was loading Rage M Rom 1.2.  Wiped what i was supposed to.  

 

I was coming from JB 4.3, Rooted, unlocked, CM 10.2

 

I can get a blank screen if i hold down power and volume -

or

all 3 buttons.

 

But the boot logo just comes back and sits there.

 

My PC can see the device.

 

Every solution i read about says I need to be in AP fast boot. 

 

But I no not know how to get there.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Press the power button + volume up + volume down all three together. When the screen turns off (goes black) just release the power key and keep holding the volume key together.

 

Dont leave the volume keys until you reach the boot menu.

Thanks for the fast reply.  For some reason, i didnt get the email notification.  

 

I can get to the boot menu; and  scroll up and down; but not select anything with the power key.

After a few seconds the phone goes back to the booth logo, weather i have tried to select anything or not.

 

I tried a few times.

just kidding i was not using the power button to select ap fast boot.

 

No i am in ap fastboot but my battery is low.   

No green light while in apfastboot.

The green light does come on while the screen is blank But when the phone jumps to the boot screen.

after cycling power 10ish times I had enough power to boot into recovery from ap fastboot.

Battery is finally charging.

with Battery charged to 75%. in stalled a backup from twrp.  now im back to stock, rooted, unlocked.

Reading through the sticky on installing roms.   Some folks had better luck installing rage M ROM via Safestrap than TWRP.

 

Just got Rage M Running via safe strap.

 

If it runs fine for a few days, I'll install it in the stock rom location.
