So I had an issue last week where I couldn't hear anything from the ear speaker, but people could hear me. When I switch to speaker phone, I can hear everyone fine. So I decided to do a factory reset. I'm currently bootloader unlocked, rooted, running the latest Kitkat update. My phone started working up until this past Saturday. I tried doing another factory reset, and it's a no go. I've also gone ahead and put the phone in "Safe Mode" and I still can't hear anything from the ear speaker.
I've searched online and apparently people had this issue when the phone first came out. I was wondering if anyone would know if the ear speakers can be replaced easily (when I mean easily, I mean can I just buy parts and replace it without having to solder anything?). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
