As cmh stated, try it in your phone first. That should work.

If not, sdformatter should work. Did you get it from here ->

All 64gb cards come pre-formatted as exFat which not all smartphones can read, including the Droid HD (XT925/XT926).

i'm using a 64gb card in my phone. Have been since I had a Droid RAZR MAXX (XT912) and it works like a charm. I used sdformatter to format the card because I believe my RAZR MAXX couldn't format it so I had to use sdformatter.

In sdformatter, I believe you need to set the format size adjustment to on to adjust the cylinder count.

Last resort is to use the following tool ->

This will allow you to format a partition > 32gb as fat32. Normally, you can't do that (NTFS is what you normally would use), but this tool will allow it.

Well at least I know it will work in this phone

I bought 2 new Samsung cards off e-bay I think they may be junk

first the phone will not format them when you tell it to format it reboots and then when phone is back it just says blank card

I have tried sdformatter but I see no option for fat 32 maybe I don't know what the cylinder count should be , it formats in exfat only

I did that thinking that if I can get any sort of format on this card that I could change it like with fat32formatter but when I install in my laptop

it will not reconize the card as having any format at all

so I do need fat 32 correct ?      I think the cards may be so corrupted that they are now junk which is weird

I have tried quick and full formats with no results even tried it on my old desktop running XP I know there is a problem with win7 not formatting fat32

but these 2 apps will do that............I'm knida thing these cards amy be bad

thanks for trying to help guys I appreciate it much

Here's a link to the documentation for sdformatter ->

On page six, it shows the screen and there is an option button. Click that.

You should see what is displayed on page 8 of the document. There, in the Format Size Adjustment dropdown, set it to on. This will adjust the cylinder count I believe.

If this doesn't work, then try the link I supplied to the Fat32 Formatter. That should definitely get you going.

Thanks buddy I appreciate it much messed around forever finally got one of the 2 cards working, I think the one is just junk or so corruptred it won't

format back to anything

if I'm correct the one app does not format to Fat32 the Sd card formatter it would format to exfat but saw no options for fat 32

I used that one the sdformatter to get it to format then used Fat32Formatter to change it to fat32

as some others mentioned in other post when moving all the card info from the older 32 gig it would not move the MP$ video files

it always says they are corrupt kinda weird maybe because I moved the info from the old card to a file on the desktop the back to the new card

others have reported this same issue.

thanks so much for the help ibolski ,

the guy  I bought them from is sending another replacement
