Hey a new forum!! Now that tomorrow is release day for the latest and greatest Big V HTC Flagship phone, are you gonna get one??

Mine's on order. I'm impatiently waiting for its arrival.

To me buying a phone with a locked bootloader is like buying an iPhone. Knowingly putting yourself in a prison

If I buy a car and the dealer tells me I can't listen to certain radio stations, and instead puts Verizon bloat on my car's system... I'd take it back right away. A cell phone is much more personal than a car however... Verizon can't tell me what to do with what I buy, and by even TRYING to they lost any purchase from me again. Even if it does get unlocked (like most HTC's because their security sucks), I wouldn't consider buying it. Buying it tells Verizon you will bend over for them and enjoy having locked phones.

So was the last HTC Verizon phone until it released. Now it's not.

Most of us are on locked boot like RAZR and there are great ROMs out. HTC has a better chance getting unlocked than our razrs lol

Was watching some root/unlock forums anticipating the moment I could pick one up from the VZ store. Got it last night, sped home only to find that HTC/Verizon was not going to unlock it. So here it sits looking all cool and stuff. If there is any way I can help with info from the device I'd be glad to....

Out of all the devices that have come out lately, this is the only one to really catch my eye. I have not been interested in the HD RAZR line at all. I am still wanting to wait a little longer to see what else is released but as of now, this is my top choice if i upgrade.

Yes sir... Came fed ex today. Just got her activated a hour ago. Loving it so far. The screen is ridiculously awesome. Fits good in the hand. It is taller than my OG razr. Nice grippy rear side. All the red grills on the front and side are damn sexy.

Haha... nope. Been reading and watching the action but there are too many bricks popping up at this point. I'll get there eventually. No real need at this point. When the Roms start falling out of the sky I'll be on it. Gotta support my crackflasher habit

Also wanted to note that if anyone is afraid this will feel like a Phablet because of the 5" screen you need not worry. This is 100% phone. It feels long and lean compared to the stockier Note and note 2. They found the sweet spot between length and width. Unlike the iph*ne 5 which looks stretched out like an awkward teenager this feels correctly proportioned.

Ok thanks. Wasnt sure if there were others yet. Will check it out when i finalky get my DNA lol. Dont wanna lose unlimited data so i have to wait till after xmas. Kids come before new toys for me. But if you dont try it by then i will let you know how it works. Havent messed with HTC since the Thunderbolt days.
