First of all, finding this site was the best thing that could've happened to my Razr. I was losing hope checking XDA everyday. But to the point:

I do believe this is my first post, and I had to post it here because the work done on this is amazing...I can tell not because I'm a dev, but b/c no one else has done it. Thank you for this and better believe I will be reaching into my pockets as soon as possible.

I read the entire thread before flashing, making sure it was 'safe'. After flashing, I must say, w/exception of the cam (which is being worked on as we speak) this could def be a daily. I have no prob with the USB mounting issue b/c thats what I have a file explorer to transfer files from one drive to the other. The rom is smooth, I've played with it based on a "tour" video of ICS on YouTube and it does everything I saw except the Face Unlock, which is not a deal breaker, I'm just testing out certain things as far as what I'm used to. I tried running a couple games, Grand Theft Auto 3, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012, Don 2, and all ran with no problems at all...even less graphic-intensive games like Angry Birds and Bunny Shooter...read about the Netflix issues so I was already expecting issues..phone call worked, texing worked, shortcut buttons worked, home screen folders look great, and I love the native screencapture, which I have been ABUSING lol

Well, point is, great, no, amazing work to everyone involved. I only have one VERY minor issue that I was wondering if anyone else had. When I turn my screen off by pressing the power button, the backlight on my buttons stays on. Doesn't bother me, I'm just wondering if I'm the only one b/c I saw no mention of it earlier. Thanks to everyone once again!

I agree with you 100,000% this site has been the best thing to happen to my razr, no other site has what this site offers, not to mention the best razr support. I cant tell you how many times i found the exact info i needed and the confidence to hacking this great phone. SO thank you everyone!!!!

i figured since i havent been using the camera a lot lately i would give this a try and hot damn im glad i did, this thing is frreakin awesome! so glad we have an active group over here, definetely makes buying the razer worthe it now.

K, so it is actually technically "different." The XT912 (standard razr) identifies itself as a Spyder S not XT912. Someone will have to be brave one day and actually try it. I wouldn't recommend being the guinea pig unless you've got a non-functional phone.

Thanks for the heads up. I was pretty much already committed by the time I saw this: that's the first I have heard that anything is different between the Maxx and the regular Razr: that's good to know! Regardless, I AM indeed running this rom on the safe side of safestrap, and it appears to be running quite well. Once I got the Market going and used Phone Info to resurrect 3G/4G, I admittedly have started using it as a daily driver myself. I will probably have to switch back when I go back to work Monday because I often need my camera, but I really can't believe how good this is. After getting all my apps back up and running, I missed using my Galaxy Nexus lot less. I hate to sound like a broken record, but another tip of the cap to the developer: you sir are fantastic.

Just wanted to say thanks for all yalls hard work on this! Especially DHacker29! It's working pretty good to be an early beta, can't wait until it's 100%! Also, please consider donating to the "Get a Dev a Razr" we need all the help we can get.

@composi : Also had occurrence where backlight on Hard buttons stayed on. Rebooted and hasn't happened again.
Can't wait to test results w/4G data today. 3G has been fine past 3 days. As far as the camera not working, I'm so thrilled w/ics, I don't even give a @$#% lol!

So far the only thing I have found that has not already been mentioned is the non-gmail email app does not appear to sync with and show up on the calendar like it should (gmail events show up just fine).

I honestly didn't reboot b/c I didn't want to go through the data toggle again but I'll def try it b/c even though its not a big deal it kinda annoys me...and I agree, I haven't even thought of the camera I'm obsessed with ICS!!

Quick and specific question: I use Tweetcaster Pro as my Twitter client, and if anyone else does as well i would like to know if Wi-Fi goes in and out when Tweetcaster is open? I'm pretty much always on Wi-Fi and it works perfectly with every app i have installed except TCP.

That is a entirely different API, etc. Anything other than ICS will not work.

If I roll back to the required sofware version using fastboot files will I lose the radio upgrade also? The radio upgrade in the leak made LTE work 100 times better at my house.

oh wow, just confirmed that the internal sdcard is mounting over USB/Mass Storage with the 1.27 build. Is this known or what? I plugged it in and it installed drivers and I freaked out. Anyway, progress... great work dh. Battery says charging via USB too...

Lol yes this is known for the 1/27 build. Only works for SDCard-Ext tho

Settings, About Phone. It shows all the information about ur phone like Kernal, Radio, System, Build, etc.

Its still in alpha stages, but as long as you don't mind doing a couple work arounds or anything yeah. I've been using it as mine for a little bit. Just keep in mind its still alpha so there are some known issues.

If you can go without a camera, and gtalk.. this can definetely be used as a daily rom.. although when you reboot your phone you will have to enter *#*#4636#*#* to re-enable data, like you do in the initial setup.
other than all that, this rom kicks ass!

I would like to personally thank all of the developers that contributed their time and energy to this effort. You guys are amazing!!! It has been an absolute blast playing with the new ICS ROM today. The hell with the frickin camera :-)
