Sweet, it's running pretty smooth! :p Do you know how to turn off the notification light when charging?

I have been wondering the same thing.

Also, blue-tooth is wonky. When I attempt to play music through it, it skips, jumps and it plays the music slower than it should (you know, like taking an old 45 rpm record and playing it on 33-1/2 speed for us old-timers out there).

Google Play Movies and Netflix also refuse to work. dHacker told me on Twitter it's due to DRM which he is still trying to figure out. I noticed in the error log that's what is what saying, so if you use Google Play movies or Netflix with your phone, be forewarned it doesn't work. No biggie for me. I have my Nexus 7 running Lollipop and it works fine which makes sense since that is an official Google release of Lollipop.

Still, nice to know dHacker released this for the xt926.

And other than the blue-tooth, Google Play Movies, and Netflix issues, the ROM is pretty stable. Battery life isn't as great as it is under CM11, but I can still get a days worth out of my phone. But, since this is the initial release, it's performing FAR better than what you would expect. DHacker did a great job on this initial release.

Installed! This is still another stable release. It literally runs like water. I'm in awe. Still can't run real racing 3, fruit ninja and 8 ball pool play without a problem

If you already put on his 11/14 Lollipop release, then you can just dirty flash over it.

If, however, you are CM11, then yes, a clean flash is needed. Just do the norm: wipe data, system cache and dalvik.

On another note, what exactly does "wipe dalvik" do for us now on Lollipop since it's ART? ;)

I'm really glad Dhacker is supporting this device!

Can't get ES File Explorer to receive root privileges in supersu. Other apps that need root can get root. Anyone else running into this issue?

Edit: running dhacker's CM 12 build from 11-16-14

Under Lollipop, getting write access to system is only possible if you boot into recovery. That, or file explorers with root access have to be updated correctly.

But I do remember Chainfire stating that root access to system would be harder, if not impossible without booting into recovery.

It's a security thing. Trying to make Android more secure.

Over on xda, I found

, but I'm a little hesitant to flash this patch, because the OP has intended it to be used on the N5 originally, and isn't sure if it works for other devices. But apparently it fixes the root issue for a bunch of apps on Lollipop, including ES File Explorer.

And just like that, an updated version of ES File Explorer pops up in Play Store that works with Android 5.0 and enables root privileges :)

Might have to try this. Any more comments on how it's running?

Using it right now, celluar data drops randomly for me. In the newer nightlies there is a "clear recents" stuck at the bottom, which will probably be fixed. The DRM Issues has been fixed in the latest nightly though.

edit: moved to latest nightly and the issue with the clear recents is fixed, just transparency is broke
