My unlocked XT907 is sending but won't receive texts, I have been running the phone on AT&T and until now it has worked well. Recently I had to repair a broken display and while I was waiting for the part I got a replacement sim card for an old phone. When I got the new sim card the phone would make and receive calls okay and send texts but wouldn't receive them, though the odd thing is that I could receive texts sent directly from AT&T. I had them switch out the sim card again and they sent a test text, of course that worked but still couldn't receive any other texts. Any ideas?

Did you try a reboot or FDR?

Possibly they need to correct the imei or similar in their system. Suggest calling tech support and explaining your situation.

It turned out to be an issue with Apple ID. While waiting to fix my M I used an old iphone as a backup, It appears that Apple linked my phone number to the Apple network, coincidentally all my friends and family seem to have iphones and when they tried to text me it went through as an Apple message which my phone wouldn't accept. I never realized that they all use iphones. I was able to disassociate my phone number with apple, now it works great. Thanks for your ideas.
