Hello Everyone! I have the Razr XT912. I bought my original phone in July 2012 when I accidentally dropped my Galaxy in a cup of water. It was a happy accident because I love my Razr. I loved it so much that when the charging port broke, I bought a number of tools and began learning how to solder; this type of soldering requires refined skills that I haven't achieved yet lol! I even "hot-wired" the battery (DANGER! I do not recommend!) and got a few more last moments with my beloved Razr. I replaced it with the exact same model I got for a good deal on EBay (kiss my butt 2 year contracts). Aside from a hot-wired battery and complete disassembly, this phone survived countless heart-stopping falls from heights over 4 feet, landing face down on the pavement, ceramic tile floor, and even once on the floor of a running shower. It has nothing more than a few tiny nicks in the plastic bezel, no visual damage to the inside and never seemed to have any problems operating. I am terribly clumsy so my replacement phone has a sturdy protective case.

I have come across this website a few times before, and found some helpful information. I want to root my phone, but not until I am well informed on the process..

When you are ready to root, search for moto saferoot. It is as easy as it gets. The previous RAZR Blade method is a bit tricky.
