It's my pleasure to announce a droidrzr.com exclusive!

Thanks to the diligent work of Hashcode, we now have a working JB ROM base for our developers!

Most of you out there won't need to use this but for our developers this is the first, and possibly most important, step for beginning development projects and ROMs!

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

Also, there's a NEW version of Safestrap available (V3.07) that can be downloaded here:

You WILL need this version of SS to flash any ROMs that will be coming out!

Again, this is only available for those of you who are on the JB Leak and have retained root. At this time there is no root exploit if you lost root in the transfer to JB.

Just want to say a huge thanks to those who worked throughout the day today to get this up and running: Hashcode, Brian, istick, vtwinbmx and everyone else who helped with this project!

Happy modding and let the games begin! :)

Hashcode for president!!!! I want to thank hash for all his hard work with this. It was a awesome site to see him in chat collaborating with other devs and making sure things were working. Hashcode is someone we should all admire for things like this. He helps and is a very important cog in the Motorola development area. So thanks again hash and all the others that worked with him.

Very cool indeed! Dumb question, but wanted to clarify - so future JB roms based on this will still require the phone to have the JB leak flashed, right? In other words, it's impossible to expect JB roms based this (where bluetooth and everything is working) to run on a phone with .211 ICS build + Safestrap?

This will not upgrade you to JB. You must use the OTA files. If you try to flash this you'll end up with a soft brick.

downloading as we speak, tried to install the leak earlier today by
a: uninstalling safesystem
b: backed up and kept root with voodoo ota
c: restored phone to stock via settings on device
d: wiped cache
failed (status 7) updating with motorola stock recovery phone info indicated 211
then i tried using (DROID_RAZR_HD_Utility1.10) by booting into fastboot and i kept ketting fails (no partition write?) by using option 1
so i hope this works only question is do i install into a safe system or flash it with motorola recovery.
been a long day sorry ...

This file can ONLY be used if you are already on JB and rooted. It is a stock ROM base so there are no "bells and whistles" just a base for the developers.

you are getting failures because you are using the wrong utility.... that utility is for the razrHD

you need the 1.82 utility found here:

This is awesome! Thanks Hashcode! I cannot wait to get back to my computer and start developing! Do we need to ask special permission to use this? Of course huge credit will be giving to all who created this!
