I would wait before anyone else takes the plunge doing the OTA method unless they don't care about backwards compatibility.
Edit: I am building a utility that will allow you to use both ICS and JB Roms without locking you down to JB only.

That's the JB kernel right there. Did you patch the boot.img? And flash it in to avoid bootloader security upgrade? Clever... clever indeed.

Just curious - anyone know if there will be a Root coming out for the JB update? (like a Matt's Utility for the JB update?)
"they" are working on it....... as best as they can right now .....

Yes Hashcode is amazing I just hope to flash soon. Has anyone been successful in getting a new phone if they complain about bugs with the OTA? Makes me want to try and get a new one...New OS new Phone lol.
Good luck getting a replacement...... i spoke to Verizon and Motorola today..... each one denies any offer of possibly replacing your phone...... they both said that is was our own choice to take the update and we will have to live with it untill the "official OTA is pushed out".... the really funny thing is they both said the EXACT same thing verbatum.... has to be a scripted response so they can "deny" resposibility for the update.....
