You are probably on the New "OTA" kernal. This rom has to be on the Christmas "Leak" kernal. Matt provides a kernal switcher in the Jellybean forums. It is quick and easy.

Off topic, but can you PLEASE point me in the direction of the AOKP you're running?
Also off topic but relevant to my previous question, what kernel are you running with that AOKP??

If anyone has time for several questions from a complete noob, please pm. I don't want to clog up the forum or bug the developer. But, just know, I've been on this for a while now and I absolutely love it, Kudos. I just don't fully understand it and the process. Hey, the link doesnt work for me anymore.

 

its goes to goo.im but after the countdown, i click (because im impatient) and it gives me the error "We are currently experiencing difficulties with one or more of our distribution servers. Please hang tight for this to get resolved" and ive been waiting for almost 2 days now. what has happened?

does anyone have a mirrior to this ROM?

I might be able to send you the file? I dunno how I would go about that but I should still have the .zip saved on my SD card.  I wish the dev would come back to us, he updated it and added an OTA updater and never updated after that.  I keep getting an "update available" message but its the version I already have.

You have to change a few lines in your build. Prop and will stop getting that there is a update. It tells you what to change in this thread.

Guys, anyone else getting an error while running Google Now or Google+ saying something like "your device needs and updated Google Play Services", and then when you try to update Google Play Services, you get a message saying your device is not compatible or else a message about the app being incorrectly signed? Any suggestions?

Nitroglycerin33 has updated some inverted apps you can exchange some. Some are easily done with .zip flash like a ROM. But some will not change easily remember to backup before you play with these. Credit to Nitro and his work there on his ElementalX site.

Guys, anyone else getting an error while running Google Now or Google+ saying something like "your device needs and updated Google Play Services", and then when you try to update Google Play Services, you get a message saying your device is not compatible or else a message about the app being incorrectly signed? Any suggestions?

i am also having this problem, I have tried removing google play services, the play store and google search and reinstalling them, from different sources with different versions, and it does not let you install anything but what came with the rom. 

 

Any help?

Update to .16 and run a different ROM. There's better Roms out there than this one. Like Blood Rage
Trust me, I used to run this ROM and a lot of stuff don't work.
