sort of paranoid question here but does a typical ac wall charger charge faster than a usb wall charger?
The difference comes in the amount of power provided. Any USB port should provide 5V while the amperage will vary. USB standard for a computer is .5A while the stock wall charger provides 1A.

From the way he's structuring his question I don't think he's asking about a computer. It sounds like he's asking about a wall charger with a USB port on it vs a straight cable off the charger itself.
That said, as long as the current coming off both chargers is equal there would be no difference. It will be printed on the side of the charger itself (.5A etc).

and this is sort of off topic to this thread, but i dont want to create spam by making a new one but what screen protector do you recommend i buy? (i've had bad experiences with certain brands in the past)
I use a Zagg Shield. I carry mine at work with me everyday, at a sawmill, and its done great. They have full body versions as well as just screens. And if you feel stylish you can get custom images for the back of your phone haha!

The screen is basically scratch proof. I have no idea why you'd use one in the first place... just my opinion.

I just noticed that my parents usb wall chargers for their e-cigs are 5.5v 1A.
Stock one is 5.1v 750mA
Might post some graphs here later to compare
Side note: Seems l like I charge quickest plugged into the moto car dock.
