Now that we have some mod's and themes , There is one thing you are going to want to do to your razr. this is the Echo hack . What is does is allows you to gain su with out typing su. In other words it puts your phone it root in adb without you having to type it. You will need this if something goes wrong and need to enter BP tools. TRUST ME, LOL

Thank you @p3droid and @Djrbilss for this.

1) connect phone to computer
2) open command prompt
3) type ---> adb shell
3) type ----> su (at this point if you have not done adb keep phone awake and hit allow for su)
4) type ----> echo "ro.sys.atvc_allow_all_adb=1" > /data/local.prop
5) type ----> reboot

Now anytime you enter your phone from a command promp it will have root access. To test this out when connected to your computer in a command window you should be able to type adb remount. Or when you type adb shell you should see a # after spyder not a $

Quick question: Is there any way to run this hack (or something similar) so that the

will always open with root permissions, without having to type "su?"

This should work in terminal also. I've tried it. The problem is after a reboot it does not work anymore. I think the problem lies in , how the razr boots different. I believe I can alter the hack so that it does work properly. I will get back to you on this.

Hey DDX, any luck with this? You may want to consult DT on this one, on one of his Bionic roms, I'm pretty sure his terminal automatically opened up with root. I don't recall exactly which rom it was from though!

This works for me for 1 reboot only. Meaning, if I perform these steps and reboot, I have root access in "adb shell" and can "adb remount". If I reboot a second time I lose automatic root access in adb and have to enter the echo command again and reboot. It's a viscous cycle.....In my best "Fat Bastard" voice....

I reboot because I don't have access.......I don't have access because I rebooted.
