Man I can't wait until this is daily driver stable.
Edit: To be clear, that's not a complaint. That's excitement about a bad-rear end rom.

I'm aware this is an unofficial CM ROM, but the update seems to be fully functioning and recognizing it as CyanogenMod. Hashcode, or anyone else, does this mean there will be OTA's coming from this?

Otherwise, beautiful work, I'm incredibly impressed how solid this is for an Alpha build. On the ICS kernel, the final versions of it didn't work as well. Will definitely be donating in the near future (pending funds).

Dhacker and hashcode are trying to get these builds recognized as official by cyanogenmod. Until then I don't believe OTA's can happen unless something such as ota-updater is incorporated.

there is an OTA updater- the official CM updater is in the settings under the phone. Hence my thought.

Figure it's a whiles off, but if this becomes official, that'd be fantastic.

Edit: Only other bug I've found is painfully slow transfer speeds via USB to the sdcard-ext. Remedied easily however by simply using the Safestrap mounting. Love that feature.

The only thing I've seen that doesn't work (aside from what is mentioned in the OP) is stock MMS and on boot sd card mounting.

Is anyone else having an issue receiving and sending MMS on stock?

Edit--
Confirmed stock nor third party (go sms) MMS does not work.

from what I've seen, this is an issue with the app itself, NOT the ROM, as it's been ubiquitous with the same issues throughout the ROMs. Download another, like GO SMS Pro, and it should work just fine.

Go SMS seems to fail as well. I get "invalid address" err message when trying to send.

You're right, I missed that. looks like it's APN issue? But I have no clue how to adjust the proxies

Have you also managed to get the wireless ap working? Devices can't see the ap when I turn it on. I saw a post saying to change the profile to ics/jb but I have no idea where that is.

hey guys, im working on a rom based off this, it WILL have the same issues as listed in the OP. I've changed the font, added some scripts and some inverted apps, as soon as i get proper permissions i will be posting. Ive got a test build completed thats running pretty smooth, also testing a build with center clock in status bar now.

Okay, this is really odd.

For wireless ap, if you set the security to wpa2, wpa, or open, it doesn't actually change the security type, but rather renames your network to the security type. Right now I have set Chris as the wireless hot spot name, but when you look on other devices you will see the security name as the hot spot name rather then Chris. Also, it is an always open network.

Anybody found a real fix for the SD card not reading unless you take out then put back in every time?

Hashcode and dhacker will have to resolve since it's a source problem

My stock Messenger sends MMS just fine... Wasn't the case on ICS kernel...

FYI it might be a bit before another build is done. Right now hashcode and dhacker29 are working on getting things merged with the official CM so that might slow things down a bit. In the end this work will be worth it since it'll make things a bit easier.
