How to install 6.14.79 ICS ~the easy way~

Disclaimer: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT IS CAUSED BY THE LINKED UTILITIES. I AM NO LONGER SUPPORTING OR UPDATING THE UTILITY ~ I HAVE GONE TO THE DARKSIDE ON .209 o.O

Credit: I didn't write any of the "code" contained in the utility. The tool that I link is literally just a combination of Matt's Droid Razr Utility 1.6 and Rouxe41's ICSInstaller. Therefore, 100% of the coding credit goes to those two guys. Thanks for the awesome utils!

If you put in your email, it supposedly sends the download link to your email. (i put in a fake one and thats what it told me.) Personally, I don't like giving my email to sites I don't know too much about. gonna have to find my spam emails password again.

The mirror was faster than most of the mirrors i've downloaded from lately, and in my opinion the email was a minor annoyance.

Does it have to be in order? I went to try and install ICS, and it runs files and then exits immediately. I have my phone on Charge Only mode, Unknown Sources checked, Debugging Mode checked, etc. Any help?

Well if all the prompts showed up on your phone then u are fine. But I'll check the util code. Might be a problem there. You are rooted right?

Has the tool been updated to reflect the latest leak? Just wondering. I noticed the post had been updated so I figured that was the case. Changelog? thanks. Its an awesome tool btw. Really simplifies things.

This tool will only install the 6.14.79 leak. As far as I concerned, that will never change. Feel free to modify the utility and rename it if you want it to install a different leak.

Worked fine when I tested it. I'll check the util. Update coming soon should fix issues like this. In the mean time, you cpuld search up the manual method for ics install. Its somewhere on the forum.

I started from scratch with Matt's Util, went to .181, rooted, installed ICS with ComboICS 0.3, and rooted. All is well, and da**..is this thing nasty fast! I'm just not so sure about the signal though, it's not what it used to be.

You honestly have no idea what your talking about. To install the leak, yes, you flash a file labeled with .181. But it is indeed ics... trust me. And the other few hundred users who have tested it.

It is labled as the build version you're coming FROM. Not the build version you're updating TO.
