The long-awaited OnePlus One has been officially announced. For the uninitiated, this would be the first Android smartphone to launch with Cyanogenmod as its built in OS. But the biggest feature seems to be the value for the dollar. The device will sell at $299 and $349 for the 16 GB and 64 GB built in storage variants, respectively. And the OnePlus One packs hardware that you'd expect to see on a top tier device, at a price below what even the Nexus line is selling for. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB of RAM, a Wifi radio supporting the wireless ac standard, a 5.5" 1080p screen, and a 13mp rear facing camera are a few of the features that you'll get with this. That is, if you're lucky enough to receive an invitation to buy one, as that's the only way you can purchase the OnePlus One for now. As a GSM phone, this will work on AT&T and T-Mobile, but not Sprint or Verizon. Full details on the device and the invitation system can be found
