My phone seems to have been corrupted.  It is stuck in the red eye.  I have tried every option to recover.  Unfortunately a major obstacle is that the phone is not recognized by the PC.  The phone status shows USB connected, but the Motorola Device Manager on the PC does not see the phone...

If I put the phone in recovery mode and try to update from SD Card, it will read the rom version I was able to download, but given it is an older version I believe the phone won't downgrade from 4.4.2 which was last installed.  Here is the message after trying to load Blur_Version.9.1.41.XT926.Verizon.en.US:

I am hoping to get my hands on Blur_Version.183.46.10.XT926.Verizon.en.US and maybe that will work.  The phone is still locked and has not been rooted...

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

Neil

You could say that twice... Wait....

Actually, I may have a copy at the office. I will look in the am. I purged most of that old stuff, but you never know...

Neil,

Do you have the DROID_RAZR_HD_Utility_1.4gpt-2a KK ??  Back in the day when I had a Droid RAZR HD XT926 I used that utility to get me out of a lot of bricks. Let me know if you wanna try it.

George,

Thanks for the tip to use the Droid_razr_hd utility.  I believe I need to use that from a PC with my phone connected via usb and recognized by the PC.  Unfortunately I have been unable to get the PC to recognize my phone.  I have installed the Motorola Device Manager, but it does not find the phone.

Livinginkaos,

I have checked out the KDA20.62.10 but it requires RSD Lite to load into the phone which requires that the PC recognizes the phone which it does not as I explained to George.

I think the only hope I have is a load from the SD Card which is why I am looking for Blur_Version.183.46.10.XT926.Verizon.en.US

Thanks again guys for any corrections or help.

Neil

What you are wanting to do is not possible. Applying an update is different than flashing a system image. You say the computer doesn't recognize it. Do you have the correct drivers? Have you put the phone into fastboot mode prior to connecting? Be sure to use the latest rsd lite.
