So im running the latest PAC rom on my Droid Razr Maxx Xt912 which on a side note the PAC rom is freaking awesome i love it...lol....back to the question..

I used Zedge to install a ringtone however the last day or so i have noticed the phone to just vibrate as that is what i have  it set on aswell to do when it rings...i checked the volume it is all the way up too...so what is going on can somebody help me

Its funny because i hate ringtones and so i have always had it on vibrate however i wouldnt mind hearing my ringtone once in awhile if i am away from the phone..

Have you checked in menu/ system settings/sound /volumes and made sure all the volume sliders are slid to the right?
Sometimes just using the volume controls on the side of the phone isn't enough :)

I was having issues with ringtones as well. I thought it was ROM specific, but found after trying several different ROMs that the problem persisted. I booted back into stock and still had the problem. I tried several different suggestions from various posts, but had no luck. Ultimately, after backing up my ROM of choice (I actually had several ROM backups), I saved what I wanted from the internal SD card, then reformatted the internal card. I ran Matt's Droid RAZR Utility and used options 1, 3, and 4 (flash official JB Firmware, Root, and install Safestrap 3.11). After setting up the stock ROM, I ran Safestrap and created a new slot and restored my ROM backup.

Things have been working great since then. No issues with ringtone changing/going away, and as an added bonus I freed up a boatload of space on the internal SD card so can easily have ROMs in both slots 1 and 2 to play with.

While it may have been a brute force solution, it worked.
