I'm just getting the Blu ray. In my mind, 3d is more of a gimmick than a necessity. Granted, I've never experienced Sam's setup, so I'm not definitively able to say full gimmick.

I refuse.

Certainly not a gimmick on a proper setup.  Avatar, Tron Legacy, and several others shine in 3D on my TV.

We saw it in Imax 3d yesterday. It was awesome on that screen and sound.

I'll be sure to work on building one in my living room.  LMAO!  I really would love to have the money to do a theater room addition some day but it's not in the cards.

I actually didnt know if you were still with the girl or not, or that she had kids.  So that does indeed work out for you.

Finally found the spoiler thread. :) :thumbup

My mind isn't in any shape to formulate a long, drawn out theroy at the moment so I'll just ask a simple question.

Why would Han and Leia name their son Ben. After I assume Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi? It doesn't sit well with me since Ben Kenobi had no significance to either of them. It would make more scense for Luke to name his son Ben since Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi had more of a role in Luke's journey towards the force.

One of my theorys is Kylo Ren aka Ben is indeed Luke's son. Han and Leia just raised him in his early life while Luke was out searching for force sensitives and setting up a new Jedi Temple. That would put Rey as Han and Leia daughter.

That would continue with the story line of them both being forced sensitive. Since Kylo turned, possibly destroyed the new Jedi order, that would also explain why Luke fled. Rey was young and early in her Jedi training and to save her, Luke dumped her on Jakku and "wipped" her mind which didn't sit well with Han or Leia leading to them becoming estranged.

The only thing that blows my theroy out of the water is Leia in TFA saying "bring back our son" to Han. Which could be explained by them raising Kylo as a young lad as I mentioned above. But that doesn't really sit well with me leading to my question; why would Han and Leia name their son Ben?

Um no significance to Leia??  Really?  LOL  "To General Kenobi.  Years ago you served my father in the clone wars..."  And she knew how important he was to Luke, as well.  So yes, he was important.

Important yes but not integral enough, in my opinion, to namd a child over. I know I'm probably wrong in my assumption but still.... It "could" be true.

I don't know.  But I didn't find it all that odd that they named him Ben.  Especially when you think back to the fact that Ben was instrumental in hiding the kids after Anakin joined the dark side and Padme moved along.

True.. Another theory I have is Luke fathered no children and Kylo-Ren and Rey are brother and sister. Going by the similarities of the original trilogy to Episode 7 I find this very plausible.

One thing is for certain, I can't wait for May 2017.

There is an almost 0 chance of them being brother and sister.  What, Han and Leia "forgot" they had another kid?  LMAO :)  It wouldn't shock me quite as much to find out she's a Kenobi though.

To think that Han and Leia "forgot" about a second child, no. For them to remain silent to protect her, plausible. For J.J. Abrams to reveal this in episode VIII or IX, possible. As much as I like to theroize I'm just going to wait until episode VIII

Rey being an offspring of Obi-Wan Kenobi would be a great addition and twist to the overall plot. I doubt it though. Historically, throughout the movies, Obi-Wan was devoted to the Jedi mantra of giving up possessions. All of a sudden him giving up his monk like status, during his exile on Tatooine, and fathering a child is plausible but in my opinion doubtful.

Kylo-Ren is most likely Han and Leia's son, Rey is most likely Luke's daughter and Finn and Poe Dameron will probably have no connection to the original characters lineage.

JJ Abrams Isn't doing 8 or 9. He's done. Probably going back to star trek for number 4

Actually, Obi Wan did have a love interest.  She was killed, but, it showed he was capable of it.  After he dropped Luke off on the family farm, he was no longer a Jedi.  "I was once a Jedi the same as your father".  It's NOT completely implausible.

As for Finn, don't be so sure.

Finally saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't like is that once Kylo took his mask off all I could see was the idiot from Girls. Don't know if I'll ever get passed that.
