It appears kit kat has broken flash. Before, I could view amazon instant video through Firefox, but now none of the browsers (dolphin, Firefox, xscope) work. They all say that flash player needs to be installed. Flash is installed and it's been enabled on all three browsers. Has anyone gotten it to work? Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4

Puffin browser works. I believe there are some saying that they have the aosp browser working on 4.4 but I have not tested

It does appear that Kit Kat broke flash. Other users have reported that only Puffin works, but it's slow and choppy, paid or free version. I guess I'm going back to 4.3 or 4.2.2 where it worked just fine in Firefox.

Hopefully, Firefox will update soon to make Flash videos work again.

That, or Amazon needs to get off their duff and release Amazon Instant Video for android devices, which probably won't happen since they want to sell their Kindle Fire butchered "android" devices.

The move from Flash to HTML5 has not been a timely as they had hoped.  Puffin is slow because they act as a proxy of sorts for flash playback.
