5/5

I'm stopping support on this to focus on 10.1.

Here is version 4. It's CM10 based. I have inverted most of the apps, inserted custom wallpaper, added a few ringtones, found a bad rear end boot animation, and included an Apex theme and Theme chooser theme to give it a completely blacked out look. The clock, calendar and keyboard are 4.2. It has full init.d support and tweaks, build prop enhancements and other goodies.

Credit and thanks belongs to:

The hive for hosting
KDH for the base for the Gapps
Hashcode and Dhacker for basically everything that lets us do this
JaeKar99 for the bootanimation
Sparkyman for building Axiobeam, porting it to the OG razr and setting the bar so damn high for me!
Lenarox for the RAM script

I haven't found an issue with this build. It doesn't mean it's perfect, just the stuff I use works......let me know what bugs you find if you want them addressed.

Instructions (I'm using safestrap 3.05.20)

1. Download the ROM and Gapps (the gapps will only work with this specific ROM)

2. Boot into recovery
3. Make Nandroid
4. Wipe cache, dalvik, data and system
5. Flash ROM and Gapps
6. Reboot
7. Once the phone grabs a signal set up your accounts
8. Reboot
9. Chill for 10 minutes or so
10. Reboot
11. Profit

The multiple reboots may seem like overkill, but trust me, letting the rom settle matters. Patience is a virtue.

As soon as I finish the moto blur rom that I'm starting to hate, I'm putting my focus here. Dhacker made a few commits recently so I'll compile it and see if he worked his wizardry yet again. He is the man!

updated base to 12-7 CM10 build. This is a viable daily driver now.

P.s. Anything I do wrong I blame Sparkyman - he is the inspiration......If only Axiobeam could make it's way to the M.......lol

Am I the only one having WIFI issues? And when I change settings (like changing the keyboard, or WIFI sleep policy) they won't stay.

Anyone willing to share MD5SUMs?

I haven't had wifi issues, but I don't use wifi often because I live in a 4G covered area and for what I pay a month to Verizon I try to make myself feel better by using as much data as I can while I'm still able to keep my grandfathered plan......

The big thing with this build is reboot at least once a day in my experience. If wifi is an issue let me know, I'm going to start fiddling with an update soon. But for now, I just posted AOKP Trippin Bean in the OP. Good news is Dhacker and Hash have brought us AOKP and it's 4.2 and cool as a four letter word I can't say here.....Bad news is this release is in ALPHA. The ringtones and notifications don't work. Not sure about the other bugs yet as I haven't tested it long, but there are a ton of features in the AOKP build. It has init.d tweaks for cache clearing and zipaligning on boot, set renice (nova launcher is the recognized launcher, change the init'd script -#20 if you switch launchers to keep the tweak), sdcard boost, etc. Build prop tweaks and the ac!d sound mod. I switched all the gapps to 4.2 as well.

Enjoy!

Thanks. I lost my unlimited when my husband jumped on the android bandwagon. Therefore I'm on WiFi when ever possible. I redownloaded it today and will flash it tomorrow.

That is some awesome news about 4.2! Thanks for all your work.

I reflashed it tonight and I'm still having the same problems with WiFi and settings. Still a great ROM!
