This just started yesterday, I'm getting a lot of freezing apps (ending up force closing) and the phone is just laggy in general. I haven't downloaded anything new other than possibly updates and i am stock. I had an adventure in rooting a while back and am not going down that road again. I just wanted to know what i could do to speed it up within the parameters of the factory layout.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

My phone started being really laggy too so I wiped my internal storage ( I made back ups of what I wanted/needed) and that helped me a lot. My internal was pretty much maxed.

Ok, i did some poking around, and i think my problem is lack of available RAM...i don't know how to free this up...i tried closing every process i didn't need, but most of them simply opened back up...but around 700 mb of RAM is in use at all times...i really need to remedy this

I'm at about 700MB too and no issues, but feel free to pursue that route. Should help either way, but I would definitely clear your cache.

Your phone does the ram delegation itself... And believe it or not it's the opposite of your pc , meaning the more ram used the faster the phone will go. If you are getting up to your ram limit then your phone removes unused apps to free up space... So using task killers is actually slowing down your phone. I did pretty extensive research on the subject Lol
