Hey, is it possible to install Ubuntu Touch with BootMenuManager? If yes, how can i do that?
and is it only compatible with ICS kernel or with JB, too?

May I ask what changes on the 4/12 rom?

And can I install it under Official Android 4.1?

Yes you can install with any system version. The changes were mainly to support Ubuntu api changes.

Is it possible that this could be ported to be used on the JB kernel? Roms are so limited on JB!

Not sure what I am doing wrong.  Everything points that this should work on JB, I follow the instructions to the letter (even use the outdated versions of the downloads) and I get nothing but a black screen on reboot.  It does a single buzz after going past the SafeStrap screen and then nothing.  Help...I need my Ubuntu.

This was not ported with the latest JB build. Also this project has been abandoned. Canonical didn't release enough of the source for a working port last I knew.
