For some reason, after I make edits to framework-res and I try to drag them from the new apk to the original, 7zip gives me an error message "not implemented". Tried with winter and it said the file was corrupted. Started over with a new copy of the framework, same issue. The only changes I made were a couple of images and some XML colors.
The framework compiled with no errors. This is the only apk I've had this problem with.

Has anyone seen this error? Anyone know what causes it? Searched on Google but haven't a specific cause yet.

Have you checked the permissions of the zip file to make sure you can edit it?

I thought something like that might cause it, but no I haven't checked permissions on the zip.
I also thought it might be something in the way 7zip is set up.

Could be. You should have permission to edit the zip but you never know i guess. Kind of has me baffled as well.

It decompiled and recompiled fine, so I wouldn't think it would be a permissions issue.

Used VTS to decompile, edit, and recompile. Signed the apk and flashed it. Still don't know why 7 Zip didn't work, but at least I got it with VTS!

Almost....gets stuck in bootloop
