For people that THINK they were able to preserve root, check to make sure. Some people are reporting that apps that already had been granted root access still worked, but no new apps were able to request access.

I confirmed yesterday in chat that it does work - new apps and old.

I tried clearing the data and setting up the battery saver but still no root for me.
I'm not on soak, I'm on the Official OTA. Anyway to get root back because I accidentally
installed the OTA.

You can use 1.90 and reset back to Stock JB and root

Razr Blade root worked for me on the OTA after I couldn't restore it. Didn't try it without, but I deleted smart actions data before I tried.

I am having the same issue Smart Action 4.2.2.4.2 was loaded on my replacement phone when it arrived yesterday. There is no uninstall updates option in the manage apps section or in Play Store. What can I do to get my root back? Is razr_Blade still the best option with the updated Smart Actions or is there a different exploit that I can use? Thanks.

For everyone having problems with rooting try when it says Rebooting as soon as your phone turns off unplug it. When it is on the lock screen plug it back in (Takes a minute for the computer to re-recognize it). Keep doing this until you are done.
