Im not sure if this topic has been cleared for the droid razr m and i cant get any decent answers. I flashed my phone in october cuz beats audio bricked my phone and ever since its boots into the sticky bit fastboot no matter what i do it still boots up like that. before it really wasnt a problem but no its getting extremely aggravating having to hold the power and volume buttons just to turn my phone on. if any one can help me that would be great. Plus im selling this phone so i want it to be in perfect working condition.

EDIT:

PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED I FIGURED OUT HOW TO GET RID OF THE STICKY BIT FACTORY_FASTBOOT BULL$#!+ AND NOW MY PHONE TURNS ON NORMALLY... f%$kING FINALLY..(PARDON MY LANGUAGE BUT IM EXTREMELY EXCITED NOW MY PHONE IS IN FULLY PERFECT CONDITION.

What did you do to fix it?  The solution will help out other people.  Also post the solution in your thread on XDA, you'll help a lot of people.

]Make sure you have the latest usb drivers installed  (also this wont relock you bootloader if you unlocked it already, this will wipe your date so back it up)

you can download them here:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

just click on USB drivers for devices.

you can download the android file here:

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

First you want to download this zip file extract the file to your computer so it should read C:\Android

Next click on it once so it's selected hold left shift and right click and click on "open command window here"

Now plug in you phone and boot it up normally, then make sure usb debugging is enabled.

now in the command window type "adb devices" (this makes sure your device is hooked up and ready to be fixed)

List of commands to type in. ( in order)

1. adb reboot bootloader

2.fastboot oem fb_mode_set

3.fastboot oem fb_mode_clear

3.fastboot erase userdata

4.fastboot erase cache

5.fastboot reboot

thats all your phone should bootup normally (like when you first bought it ;) ) or like me i get the warning unlocked bootloader blah blah then phone boots up.

if you dont have an unlocked bootloader you can unlock it by typing the command fastboot oem unlock

decided to take matters in my own hands instead of searching my A$$ of to find solutions.

^^^^^ FYI fastboot oem unlock only works on a Developers Edition Razr M. A consumer verison from VZW will NOT unlock using that command. To unlcok a consumer version Razr M you need to use the unlock process Dan J put out and is posted here on DR.

Hmmm wonder if doing this will solve my little problem with 4.3 ROMs not rebooting without formatting data.

That's a no if anybody wondered also. Tried last night and all went good only when it rebooted it got stuck at the boot animation. Waited 20min and figured if it didn't fully boot by then it wasn't going to.

Only two commands are needed to get you out of the Stick bit Fastboot which are listed below:

adb reboot bootloader or goto the fastboot by holding (power key + both the volume keys together) and then releasing the power key.

1. fastboot oem fb_mode_set

2. fasboot oem_fb_mode_clear

Then simply reboot your Droid either by using power key or by using command

fastboot reboot

And you will be able to solve your problem without data loss.

Not really the right thread for this, but follow the directions in

thread.  Your adb pairing security has gotten flummuxed and you need to reset the connection, basically.
