I've been using this Onite battery for a little over a week now. So far I'm very pleased with it. If the stock battery just doesn't do it for you, this is a good alternative. You may be wondering just how long this can last. I went 36 hours with almost 10 hours of screen time before it died (screenshots in the second post). The battery does definitely add some extra thickness and weight (as one would expect). I've become adjusted to the size and weight that the battery adds, and I will say it's well worth it.

Pros:

  • Very long battery life
  • Has NFC
  • Same price as the OEM 2600 mAh

cons:

  • Adds weight and thickness
  • Very limited case selection
  • Included back casing is kind of ugly in my opinion

Are you looking for something to just get you a little further through the day? Then check out Zerolemon's extended 3000 mAh battery!

Pros:

  • Fits in the original casing
  • Should give enough juice to get you that extra little ways that you need
  • Tons of cases since it fits the original cover
  • TWO BATTERIES PLUS A WALL CHARGER FOR THE PRICE OF ONE OEM BATTERY!

cons:

  • No NFC (reason: the 3000 mAh that it puts out pushes to the maximum within the stock covery. By removing NFC they were able to squeeze out the extra mAh)
  • Not as much battery as the 5200 ;)

Maybe instead of the "little bit" of extra juice, you're really looking for the god of all extended batteries for those long trips. I present the Zerolemon 7500 mAh battery!

Pros:

  • Huge battery that can get you through any day no matter what you're doing

Cons:

  • No cases available that I've seen
  • Adds a ton of thickness and weight to the phone

Need a case to go with the 5200 mAh battery you have or are thinking of buying? Then check out the extended case by Hyperion.

This is a simple TPU case with a honeycomb styling to the back. The case feels very nice in the hand and adds almost no bulk to the device since it's a TPU. This does well with covering the phone and acts like you would expect any TPU case to. It also does a nice job of hiding that ugly backing i mentioned ;)

Pros:

  • Nicely styled
  • Good grip
  • Multiple colors to choose from
  • Cheap price

Cons:

TPU cases don't have the greatest protection (as everyone knows lol)

Have suggestions for me to make my reviews better? Let me know! I haven't really done reviews, so I'll take some feedback :)

The products that don't have a paragraph for them (ones with only pros and cons section) are products that i do NOT own. I can't afford every product, but i knew enough to throw them in there for those that may be interested :)

The 5200 isn't that bad. The 7500 is a brick. And the stock battery sucked for me.

I was looking at the Hyperion 5200mAH with the cover for my S4. Just wanted a holster with a clip for pocket. Like the Clamshell holster for Verizon. Found a Seidio BD2-HK3SSGS4XK-BK. Anyone know if they work together? or if anyone has found on that works?
