X8 ma $$%&$% ers! Haha. Yeah. Hope Nexus 5 is like most phones and doesn't show they support wacky processor builds like the x8. By including an x8. Ugh.

Disclaimer. Really thinking about caving and getting X on Verizon because poor.

I'm thinking similar but going to wait for that, Nexus 5, or N4v2. It'll be a step up either way. Bionic-ly sent with T4

Is there any chance a Nexus will be on Verizon again?

Only 3 carriers in the top 20 worldwide use any kind of CDMA technology(VZW is 18).

For a phone that is mass produced and subsidized it doesn't make much sense to make another variant to serve the minority especially when one of those carriers decides to screw you over when you do... There's no profit there.

That's what I figured. I made peace with the fact I'll never see another Nexus while still on Verizon. My best hope is a Developer Edition. The RAZR HD Developer Edition was nice but wasn't the answer. I hope the X Developer Edition will be better. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4

Oh there may be one. If I remember the Wikipedia article correctly, LTE is supposed to do away with the differences between GSM and CDMA.

We may have a VZ nexus in 2052!

LTE is a GSM standard its just becoming the most widely adopted because its the fastest technology available. But your point still stands, was just clarifying.

Yet I've read Verizon uses a different band so you'll still not be able to switch from, say, ATT to Verizon, or more likely vice versa, because unless dual radios are included they're still not the same LTE... Would be nice to find out I'm wrong about that...

The band isn't really an issue... Hence why people can use their VZW phones (once required hacks have been applied) on AT&T or other carriers (VZ's world phones are fully compliant GSM phones that happen to live on CDMA). There are restrictions on what bands are available, but if someone wanted to make a phone that could be sold to either network and work on the other, it wouldn't be too tough to accomplish

Getting sick and tired of waiting for the Moto X Developer Edition. Two weeks ago Motorola VP Punit Soni said it was only days away but since then that comment has been removed from his Google+ page and all we have is that stupid page on Motorola's website that has said coming soon for two weeks.

I feel bad for people on Sprint or T-Mobile or US Cellular or the International Carries that are waiting for this. Motorola hasn't even made a peep about them. Also those people as well as Verizon customers only get a 16GB version for now. 32GB should be the lowest possible unless there is a SD Card slot.

As much as I love Motorola phones the final straw is about to break. If the X Phone is there answer or flagship device then they should have been ready to provide all the version from the get go. I think they are missing their chance. There was a brief window when they could have struck and probably sold quit a few Moto X phones since the market was bare. There hadn't been a flagship device released since the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC ONE. But with fall coming and the anouncement of KitKat the tech world will be turning their attention to the Nexus Phone or Nexus Phones.

The Average consumers will be hearing about the Galaxy Note 3 and Apple iPhone whatever they are. Lets also not forget about the LG Optimus G2. That was one sweet device.

Only thing keeping from buying the S4 Dev right now is I'll have over $700 into it after getting a case, SD Card, and screen protector. Been trying all kinds of coupon codes to no avail.

You'll have $700 into it with just the phone. There is tax on it.
