I would say you are stuck until the next version comes out. Meaning a new FXZ with higher security than what's on there now. Man that is one messed up phone. I'm impressed in that I can almost always help people but very sad that I'm not able to get it working for you. Sigh. I'm sorry I've not been able to help you fix it.

They'll do a new release for the hd. The info posted about it being stuck on 4.1.2 was incorrect. So hang in there. If I think of anything else to try I'll let you know.

Maybe the phone I got last time from warranty had some updates in the software. I received this phone through warranty, actually it's probably my 4th droid razr hd... first one just turned off and wouldn't come back on, then one that randomly wouldn't vibrate, then one that wifi wouldn't work, and now this one.

Lol I'm not worried as I no longer own a moto phone. One more thing to try but I'm 99.9% sure it won't change anything. Grab rsd 6.1.4 and try that.

I was searching through my download history and the first file I downloaded was an xt925 file. I don't remember running it but could that have done permanent damage if I did?

Are there any models of this phone that are same as the xt926 that they could use parts from it when doing a factory refurbish as my phone is factory refurbished?
