I just purchase a new Verizon Motorola Droid Maxx.  My old Razr Maxx had started overheating.  So far, this phone seems like a really nice phone.  I paid the full price so I could keep my Verizon unlimited data and unlimited hotspot.  This is my 3rd Motorola Droid.  I plan to keep it 100 percent stock.

Why not add a line and do alternate upgrades? I'd find a family member who needs a phone but doesn't care about the latest and greatest.

I have personally owned the OG Droid, droid 2, razr maxx hd, now the droid maxx.

I despise the lack of accessories. And it's apparent it's going to be harder to modify in the future.

What are your favorite apps? Do you use a case? My daily driver is a cyan Incipio Feather. And on trips I use the otterbox defender. I got the Trident cyclops and Qmadix S. The Trident is built well but hard to remove. The q is just ugly and doesn't offer enough display edge protection imo.

I don't use a case, never have.  I carry the phone in my front pants pocket and have never had a problem.

I don't want to pay $30 a month for a second data plan.  My wife uses a basic phone for $10 per month.  I don't upgrade phones very often.

We have four lines. Two of which are unlimited data.

I have been with Droid from the start. The OG, the X, Razr, HD, Ultra, and now the Ultra employee edition. (Looks slick!!!) I pray I never crack my screen. I'm using the verizon Droid Ultr bumper with bodygaurdz armor on the back and a Qmadix clear on the front.

They have a lot of good reviews on Amazon and it only cost $10.  If I like it, I"ll order one for my Droid Razr Maxx.

My buddy has one of those cases and its pretty slick. Great fit, has a "barely there" feel to it. It's one of the few cases o haven't gotten yet though but will be soon.

I'm a big fan of that TPU case as well.  I've tried several others and they all seemed bulky by comparison.  Have dropped the Maxx a few times and the TPU case has protected it every time.

I am thinking of buying the Droid Max for $144 off eBay. Its like new condition. Not a fan of KitKat. JB is smoother. I have right now a RAZR HD maxx. Unlocked boot loader, rooted, and stock jb system and bloat frozen. How much if a difference is it going from the HD max to the Max? A bit faster processor, better graphics card, and 1 gig more ram. Can you tell the performance? Like to get the Turbo but I buy used phones in great condition. Turbo is to much used priced. Max seems better then the X. I mainly like to have the bootloader unlocked to just have it. I am okay staying on JB but heard Max is getting the 5.0. Could be wrong. Not sure if you can unlock the boot loader. I still have my OG White Razer. Always been outter box defender cased as all phones are.
To powerful to fall into my hands. Click......Rooted. ICS rommed!!!!! Muhahahahah!!!!
