I also think MotorolaOTA might be the candidate.  Freezing it seemed to work for me with (so far) no probs.

as if I were using it heavily, now to try and figure how to go back and freeze the updating it was beautiful before

This phone sucks on Kit Kat. Period. Sorry. At least in my experience. I liked Kit Kat but the phone was just s*** after that.

Even after trying some Kit Kat ROMS, something always just didn't work right. Went to a JB mod and am OVER THE MOON!

I'm not rooted. A stock razrxHD and it is fine since the update. Battery seems to be better. The device is over a year in daily use.

Really?

Anyone else on Stock care to "review" the last patch?

Not everyone has the same problems as you did with the update.  No reason to second guess his "review."  I don't have the HD anymore, but I am running stock KK on my M and I've had none of the battery issues that some people have complained about.  No reason to be a pessimist about it.

Have had no problems with the update.  I can't really say much about battery life as I have started using the snapdragon battery tool.  I can get into a third day with moderate use while running the snapdragon utility.

Uh...
I wasn't second guessing his review. I believe him 1,000%.
Besides all that.... The phone has let me down a bit.
OK a lot. LOL
I'd like a second opinion. Maybe a 3rd. Because I'm not an idiot and I know not everyone had the exact same problems (although many did) so yes... I'd like 1 or 2 maybe even 3 or 4 people that take this latest update to chime in and let me know if it works well for them. If 2 people love it, and 2 people hate it, then I'm not even considering it.
But if 4 people... 5 6???... all take it and like it well hell.... I might just give it a try.
It's being cautious. Not being a ****.

//edit//
Ohhhh... wait..wait...
I get why you think I was being snotty. Because I put the word "review" in parens???
Nooooo.... no no no...
I put the word "review" like that because... well, read it... it was like the shortest review ever....not really a review at all.
"It's been fine.... battery's better...."

There's really no reason to get into a discussion, but it seems like you act like a smarcastic a-- in every single one of your posts. That's exactly why I responded the way I did. ;)

Take into consideration that my post was not a review, only a comment, and I pointed out that my device is not unlocked or rooted. I only looked at this thread to see if anyone had problems with the new update. Since my phone is stock the thread was no help and I decided to take a shot at it. In my case it paid off. If your phone is not stock the jury is still out.

I'm using Titanium and I can't find that file at all.  I see lots of moto files but not that one.  I am on 183.46.14.XT926.Verizon.en.US.  This is the Bloat Free one that Nobe made.  Maybe he got rid of it.

So is there anyway to flash back to the previous version of 4.4.2? My buddy took this OTA update before unlocking his bootloader and now Towelroot won't work. Is there a stock file of 182.46.10 that he can flash?

Not in order to unlock.

My dad's XT926 was unlocked a year ago. A few weeks ago, he got the prompt to install this new update (ending in .15).

The phone is unlocked and I verified that just now.

I booted into the "Recovery" mode and I can see green Droid with a red exclamation. After a while it goes away and the phone boots up normally.

I was hoping that I have TWRP, but looks like I don't have that.

Now, in the last process, a few months ago, I lost root (when upgrading to 4.4.2), but that is not a problem, since I can always find some latest SuperSU and install the same.

Is it safe to just take this OTA right away? It will save me from downloading 753 MB of FZX, on my slow Internet connection.

My objective is to get rid of VZ bloatware, which we have never removed so far.

The phone is in stock condition (it was rooted earlier, but now I think it is not.)

Edit: Realized that there was no real risk. So, just took the OTA. It did nothing after hitting the "Install" button. Tried several times. I kept getting a prompt to set the time. Finally I pressed the back button and got rid of the screen which allowed me to set the time.

Another things was SuperSU had been prompting me to update the su binary ever since the upgrade to 4.4.2 a few months ago. This update prompt is still there, but that SuperSU update fails.

Anyway, after about 30 seconds, I saw a message "Powering off".

Then the phone rebooted and the installation of the .15 update started.

After a few minutes, now I am on 183.46.15.

However, I have noticed a problem. When I go to "About Phone" --> System updates, I could still see "System update available". It took around 5 minutes for the "Congratulations" message to come up. Now, I no longer see new updates available.

Now, next task is  to disable the bloatware and get root (so that I can have Notification toggles installed on the phone)

Any pointers are appreciated.

If you are rooted etc, then no, the update will fail...... If the phone is ABSOLUTELY 100% STOCK then yes you can take the OTA....being unlocked, you can (following specific instructions) "downgrade" later if you choose...... However, you may as well grab the FXZ regardless..... Because if something goes wrong during the update (which we've seen plenty of lately) you WILL need it........
