I can't do anything in Recovery, its like my Recovery is broken!!! When I select Recovery in the boot menu, it just goes back to the MOTO logo screen and that's it. That's why I'm saying I can't load anything from the sd card.

Does it happen to reboot on you as well? I had a user with this issue, had to re flash, got him into AP mode flashed and all worked well again..

Yes, I think it reboots after a while of waiting for Recovery to load (which it never does)

I tried running option 1 again on MRU 1.7, but I still get those errors as seen in the screen shot I posted. Not sure if that's related...

So, how exeactly did you get his/her recovery to work again?

Are we 100% sure this is GB and not ICS?? I have seen this with only ICS?

At this point, what's the worst that can happen if we tried option 2 with 1.7 utility, he's bricked right? thekyguy11, I am not saying do this move yet, I am just throwing some thoughts out there for Rick and others.. I'm Pondering Idea's here..

So we are all on the same page, here is the options he has with 1.7 utility

1 Pre-pare for side-load ICS 6.16.211 on any Gingerbread Version
2 UnStuck from ICS leak 6.14.84+ to ICS 6.16.211 |OR| Unbrick ICS 6.16.211
3 Ice Cream Sandwich Root 4.0.4
4 Ice Cream Sandwich Root 4.0.3
5 Install Voodoo's OTA Rootkeeper App
6 Install Bootstrap Recovery App (ICS version)
7 Install Safestrap Recovery App (ICS Version)
8 Flash 6.14.85 boot.img
9 Flash 6.16.211 boot.img

That was my thought ..... if nothing is working on 1.7 then it can't hurt to try 1.81.....

Right, because for one he can't put the .211 on the phone, unless buy some chance it has it on there already.. 1.81 has all whole thing.. He will also need to repair his drivers as well, and reboot. put utility on desktop..
