Go to this thread, Read it completely and follow instructions exactly.  It should fix your phone if it is not hardware related.

I have the same issue. A friend had her phone start bootlooping out of nowhere. She asked me if I could take a look at it and try. It's the exact same xt926 that I have. I tried flashing 4.4.2 KDA20.62-10.1FF, which is the same file I used to flash mine when it started looping after attempting an OTA update. HouseofMoto ran but failed to flash multiple areas (Such as bootloader), and it's still stuck in bootloop. I don't know what version was on it, because it wouldn't boot when it got to me. If anyone has any ideas please help.

The next step is to flash the .15 version it is the newest.  One thing to rememeber is that as of now the .15 version is not rootable, and there isn't anyone working on it. The phone being almost three years old every one has moved on.

I tried that, but it still fails to flash :( Thanks for the suggestion though!

If that hasn't worked ... did you do a full flash or tried to save your data, did you receive errors or was the flash sucessful?

Make sure you have the most current drivers installed for java, usb, and are using a the motorola cable that came with the phone not a nockoff.  Also using a usb 2.0 port.  All of them can and do make a big difference in flashing.  Re-setup either windows flasher or house of moto 4.1 and rsdlite 6.24. down load links are in the threads of the two utilities (HOM, and windows flasher). You have to have atleast java 7.x.  I have been using 8.X. If that doesn't work then you may have a hardware failure.

Samurai is an awesome dude.

P.S. When it asks to flash the GPT and the TZ partition, just select no and then the userdata option is up to you.

Have you tried House of Moto?

Yes, I did without success:

- wipe cache
- RSD Lite +   .15 build

- RSD Flasher +   .15 build

- House of Moto +  .15 build
- Factory resets
What else? It's a pity. I was not going to buy the new phone but according to the

I haven't a clue :/

Here's hoping someone with more knowledge than me comes around.

P.S. Does anyone know if you can root your phone through bootloader? It's still in bootloop, but I wanna root it so I can unlock, flash TWRP, and try a few different methods.

The root method required for unlocking is an apk, so your device needs to be booted. It is all mute if you were on the .15 build anyway.

Thank you for the info!

Additional question: do you have to root to unlock?
