If at first you do not succeed, suck a lemon until you do succeed.
Finally, too some doing; but, TWRP is installed.
Any ideas on how to stop being prompted to upgrade.
My goal is to install Liquid Smooth with no gapps.

Also still have the sim card not being recognized problem.

Hi,
I posted my problem here (
)but didn't get any answer. Then say this topic and tried to do some stuff manetioned here. This is what I did:
- Downloaded FXZ
from- Followed all the instruction for HousofMOTO from
- After connecting it to a USB 2 port and running fashme.bat, I think it didn't do anything becasue FAILURE was mentioned in all the steps such as:
writing 'modem;...
<bootloader> Failed to erase partition
<bootloader> Failed to erase partition
<bootloader> Failed to write mmc
FAILED <remote failure>
for any other action start "writing" there is a similar sequence of errors, but it will get to the end and say
Rebooting...
Press any key to continue
but it never reboot and still can only turn on the phone with VOL DOWN+POWER and it is stuck in the red Moto logo again. I just need help to know if this issue can be solved or I have to get a new phone. I have no idea what rooting or unlocking means, but I think the first topic that I downloaded the FXZ file was saying from any unlocked or locked phone and no other step was mentioned. Please let me know if I missed any steps.

I wish I could help but if it wasn't for this forum, I'd sold my phone.
Do not get rid of the phone just yet. Hang in there, someone will jump in to help you out.
Also, start a new thread so you get attention to your problem.
I doubt if anyone is still subscribed to this one.
Good luck,
dlw

My phone just suddenly started to act like this, did u have the same problem? or u were trying to do some software or.. changes and you got to it?
It's been a week, and tried many different things. I was trying to buy one this weekend that I noticed your problem is solved. Let's see if any ideas come in a day or so!

One of the first questions that needs to be asked..... Are you 100% sure you are using a 2.0 USB port....AND an OEM Motorola USB cable?....
Next, what system version is your phone currently on?
Yes,
- I tried it on a Lenovo E531, which has only 1 Powered USB 2 and the other USBs are 3. Don't know if having power on that port makes a difference
- the cable is the cable that came with the phone in the box
-I don't know what u mean by system version? I only know it was Jelly bean on it. In this condition is there anyway that I can check the system?

Ok, thank you. I'll try to do it on my older X220 which I think doesn't have USB 3 or at most only one.
- I downloaded the drivers from the same post for HouseofMOTO
