Inadvertently pressed install on the update screen.
Now during boot up, the boot system goes to TWRP and halts.
Is this the correct way to install the auto update?
Or, is TWRP being installed causing a problem?

TWRP being installed is the issue. You'll need to restore to stock, then OTA, or just upgrade via FXZ.

If you want the update..... "Install" it via house of moto (same method you used to "install" the .10 version so you could unlock :)
