Well I decided to upgrade from my Razr M... officially an owner of a new Moto X 2014 Pure Edition! I guess I'll be the first one to post a topic on it on DroidRZR. There's quite an active dev community for the device, hopefully more to come on DroidRZR. I've been an owner for about 5 hours now and have it unlocked and rooted, have no reason to put a ROM on it yet because pure 5.0 is beautiful.

Doesn't even void warranty, which is phenomenal.

I only wish there was a custom kernel for stock.

I haven't unlocked mine yet. Still thinking about it.

I got the unlocking done early because I knew I'd be doing it eventually, and I knew it factory resets data. Didn't feel like getting everything setup how I like it just to wipe it later on. I'm a bit surprised there is a lack of kernels. To be honest, though, stock rooted 5.0 has performed phenomenally. 5.1 OTA rolling out now as well. Haven't decided if I wanna do 5.1 Stock or make my way to a AOSP based ROM with a few more features.
