BTS ROM for Samsung Galaxy S3 (Verizon only)

This is my first ROM for the Galaxy S3. This is a mostly stock experience with some goodies added and some annoyances removed.

Features:
  • Based on OTA Jellybean 4.1.1 (I535VZWBLK3)
  • Removed VZW and Samsung bloat apps
  • Deodex
  • Root (SuperSU)
  • Busybox
  • Ad blocking (hosts file)
  • Native tethering/WiFi hotspot vendor bypass
  • Modified toggles to include WiFi (removed WiFi in ongoing notifications)
  • AOSP LockScreen with SMS and Phone shortcuts [Credit mod by Didact74]]
  • Clock Statusbar Mod (center, right, no clock & AM/PM size & weekday)[Didact74]
  • Enable shutter sound menu in camera
  • 3 way reboot power menu (reboot, hot reboot, recovery)
  • Removed persistent gps icon from status bar [Didact74]
  • 1% circle battery mod W/ animated battery when charging.
  • Jellybean boot animation (glowing X)
  • Android 4.2 Keyboard
  • Apex Launcher
  • Apollo music player (inverted by me) (if you want Google Music download it from the Play store :P )
  • Some minor changes to the look (more to come probably)
To Install:
  • Download the ROM

  • Make a nandroid backup of your phone (always a good idea)
  • Reboot into CWM
  • Wipe data (factory)
  • Flash the zip in CWM and reboot system
  • Stare at the glowing X for about 5 minutes
  • Set up phone and enjoy the ROM

Its doing well for me too. I'm still new to this phone but coming from a Galaxy Nexus its been great on battery life. I've not tried clean ROM yet so I can't really compare. I've not made any real performance tweaks other than removing a lot of the bloat apps. I imagine some of those Verizon and Samsung apps took some of the juice away. Also I have been running mine with power saving mode turned on. I have no problems lasting all day with moderate use.
