Guys need help.

Recently I installed the leaked ICS for Droid Razor.
Now I am back to stock EU ROM.
And whenever I attempt to install OTA via BOOTSTRAP, I always end with the error below:

--Install/sdcard ...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
verfying updatge package...
Installation update...
assert failed: file_getpropt("/system/build.prop". "ro.build.fingerprint") == 'Moto/XT910_RTGB/umts_spyder:2.3.6/6.5.1-167_SPU-15-M2/1326788504:user/release-keys
file_getporp("/system/build.prop". "ro.build.fringerprint") == "MOTO/XT910_rtgb/UMTS_S:4.0.3/6. 7.1_spu-ICS-DUMMY/1326788614:user/release-keys
E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7)
Installation aborted.

Please let me know if there is any solution on this.

Thanks!

OTA updates need to be installed using the Motorola recovery, not bootstrap.

Power off your phone, hold Vol Up + Vol Down + Power
Vol down to cycle down to Recovery
Vol up to select
When it gets to the exclamation screen, hit Vol up + vol down to go into recovery
Controls inside recovery are what you are used to from Bootstrap

A getprop error is you wiped the phone and did not let it boot, so it could build cache or a prop file. Use the thread how to use RSD light or how to unbrick your RAZR with fastboot files.

Guys,

I have found the solution for this.
None on the xda solutions would work.
The answer is simply basic.

Please try to use a new clean sd card or just delete all the folders that exists on your current one (u can leave the media files alone).

Then put the update.zip on it and flash.
That's all.

Take it from me.
All is fine and back to flashing any roms available out there.

Let me know if either solutions doesnt work.

@caveman

I dont use rsd since it would fail anyway so i used the alternative flashing method by eternity project.

Please use the official stock roms for razr on xda.
Then follow procedure below.
How-To:
1. Copy the FastBoot package into the ROM you've extracted
2. Boot in AP FastBoot Mode
3. Connect your RAZR to the PC
4. Execute "FlashME.bat" (Windows) or "FlashNIX.sh" (Linux)
5. Enjoy!

I did #15 wipe data, then #1 restore to 6.12. 173 then after device reboots u can use it to root, and install bootstrap, ect....
