Leia most likely decided to have a family rather than become a Jedi. Jedi duct traditionally marry and she was in love with Han. So I can buy that she was never trained. Rey is Luke's daughter afaic. Until proven otherwise. Second viewing allowed me to confirm Finn is force aware. Before he ever touched the lightsaber this was shown if you pay enough attention. Moz or whatever her name is... And race as yoda which allows her to live a millenium. She is force aware but not trained as a Jedi. My whacked out theory is she senses Han's impending doom and sends someone to rescue him. Meaning Han ain't dead yet.

I'm not sure that Finn is Force aware..he could be but at the same time it helps with my "Ben is a pawn" theory.
Of course, you'd think Ben would have sensed it...unless that's the awakening...

Yeah, I haven't had time to do that. I think its an interesting theory. Maybe it's Finn who becomes evil instead of Ben fully embracing it.
All in all, E7 was just a step to get things in gear. I hope that Disney actually allows E8 or E9 to get as dark as it really needs to be. E7 was too safe. Yeah, Han is struck down by his son and his son looses it a few times but these 3 parts are in many ways the finale to this part of the saga. Yes,it's almost a given that StarWars will continue well past E9 but if they stick to Lucas's idea of 3 x 3 then these final 2 need to wrap up the Skywalker legacy and then have it elaborated on. We need the gaps filled in some..not every detail just the common plot holes we have from E7.

I only saw it again a few days after. I'm going to go back for yet another helping... And get the Blu ray and watch it a few more times. So... Rey had her memory wiped to try and protect her from anyone who came after her. Does that mean she was trained under Luke? Or simply just force aware and just so happened to be immensely talented as to force abilities?

Snoke's origin will he a fun one to explore. But he didn't seem to act like a traditional Sith... More like someone who is very well versed in the dark arts and tries to pull strings like Palpatine. What if Snoke was either Plagues or, Plagues survived and trained up another? Do we know for certain who he is?

I agree that Finn is force aware. Picked up on that right away.

One I saw that was really funny from a comment on a blog.... "Luke... Wtf did you do with your sister??" lol

Then what if obi Wan got busy on tatooine after dropping Luke off, had a son who then had a daughter named.... Rey. Which is why obi Wan called out to Rey in her vision.

Oh and a question I came up with.... The box maz had the lightsaber in... Same one obi Wan used to keep it in before he gave it to Luke?

So as mentioned, I had some fun in Disney.  Hollywood Studios is filled with new Star Wars things and more are coming.  One of the things they have is a display of many Star Wars artifacts used in the movies.  One of Kylo's lightsabers was there.  The write-up on it was interesting.  I presumed Kylo hadn't completed his training and therefore was deficient in ligthsaber making skills.  It seems like a rather unfocused PoS to me, and the one I bought shows wiring all over the place on the design.  But that isn't necessarily the case.  (It still could be but bear with me).  It's actually an ANCIENT Sith design, where it has so much power that it requires the two "exhaust ports" which look like part of the hilt but isn't.  Without those, the f***ing thing would blow up.  LMAO.  It's because it's overpowered.  In any case, I thought it was neat to see it down there.  They had Anakin's pod racer from Phantom Menace, as well.  

Does not appear to be the same box.  But it was a fun theory.

After seeing it again yesterday, one thing that makes me wonder is why Kylo didn't confront Finn when he first noticed him hesitating. I mean after the fact he knew exactly who turned so he obviously knew at the time he first noticed him. Almost like he let it happen.

That would play into the kylo is secretly good theory but I don't buy it. I'm not sure why he didn't deal with him either. Perhaps because he's too impatient and was single minded about finding the map. This movie can't come out fast enough on bluray for me.

You fail to remember that I want the 3D blu-ray which is not available for pre-order anywhere.  In fact, it doesn't look like Disney is going to release a 3D version of it except on their BS Disney streaming service.  In which case, they can go f*** themselves.  I've already pre-ordered the VUDU version as it'll come out long before the blu-ray.

Yeah. I still prefer to not pay for the movie twice.  I hated when i had to do tht with "Pan" recently because my daughter wanted it on her amazon tablet and amazon does not link with ultraviolet (yet, rumor has it they will). So i had to purchase the blue ray combo and since amazon blocks vudu i had to get an amazon copy for her tab.  

 

That to me is annoying.  Id rather buy the movie once and have all of my copies be available where ever they are needed.  

You forget, I have a girlfriend with kids.  I'll give her the digital copy that comes with the blu-ray.
