Because the 3rd one isn't done. He has the comet on his ship when he escapes. We may get to the last 2 today.

Not bad. Predictable. Should be an interesting season 5.

It was mostly but very enjoyable.

So he had plans for a 3rd ship but that got erased when Zarkon blew up his capital ship. Whether anything survived the explosion remains to be seen but Lotor's plans no doubt were altered.

They were likely built with a larger goal in mind, such as a dark Voltron.

Either way, bring on season 5.

Started the next Voltron season, so far it's interesting. Lotor is definitely a complex character.

It would seem that Hagar has some maternal elements left in her. Same cannot be said of Zarcon - his statements to Lotor were frankly a bit shocking.   Seems that Zarcon both loves and hates Hagar.

Shiro.. seems elements of his odd return are starting to crop up.

Keith - MIA, wish he'd be a bit more of a paladin at this point but the stuff with Shiro may culminate in him having to take his rightful seat.

With Rebels wrapping up it's easy to lose it in the buzz.

Yea I've been focused on Rebels.  I'll finish that up tonight (without my son haha sucks to be him) and then start on Voltron at some point this week.

Just finished it..  June 15th for Season 6.   Hate the short seasons but they at least advance the story a lot in each episode.  They're doing a nice job keeping it interesting.

Going back and watching the end of Episode 2...

Lotor could be potentially the greatest nemesis or ally - you're left genuinely wondering about that.

Looking forward to the next... I'm all caught up on Voltron and finished with TrollHunters.

Shocking her doesn't seem to know Hagar is not only his mother but also an Altean.

I can only speculate at this point but I wonder if Lotor is an agent of the dark quintessence than anything else. Likely without fully comprehending that. He seems hell-bent on spreading it as a cure all but seems to have wrought disaster.

Yea, it certainly seems possible.  I can't wait for the new season.   Still have to do Trollhunters.

I said that the minute I saw his first ship.  There was zero question in my mind.  However, it seems we're going to go visit earth now given the events of season 6.  Season 7 will be quite interesting.  I had theorized with my son that Pidge's father could be going back to galaxy garrison to work on the vehicle voltron.  :D  But that seems highly unlikely.  Especially now that they have a different project to work on.

Yep.  and yeah, Lotor was pretty much an agent of the Dark Quintessence.  No idea where S7 is gonna go.  Lotor stuck in that Quintessence, Hagar coming about a bit - though still a bit irredeemable though for the first time seeing her old self.  Lotor it seems was never in doubt though good at playing the part through.  The part that makes him so scary is his cunning and ability to deceive with absolute deftness and guile.  A deadly combo.

Was surprising to see them sacrifice the castle.

The AD&D part was a comedic shadowing of both past and future.

Wonder if we've seen the last of Lotor?.. if he comes out he'll be.... a bit terrifying.

As far as the old Voltron 1/Vehicle Voltron, I think with Voltron, Netflix I think has found there is gold in that mine.

Will have to wait and see...

Lotor, and his anti-Voltron, will absolutely be back.  It'll force Voltron to find new ways of handling it.  Haggar....that'll be interesting to see where she fits in all this.  Lotor completely rejected her which isn't surprising.  Lotor definitely makes a very deadly enemy. He did in the original show, too, but, moreso now.  I had zero doubt that he'd be shown to be their true nemesis.

The castle....I'll be curious as to how they're going to build a new one.  The crystal they got from the old one will undoubtedly play some part in building a new one.  I wonder if it'll have a more retro design as a throwback to the old castle.  I also had ZERO doubt that Keith would be back piloting the black lion.  My question, and one that's not even close to being answered, is if the lions recharge in the castle, and the castle no longer exists, ummmmm, how are the lions getting recharged?  And what does that mean for their ability to defend the universe?

They've certainly put the pieces together for a vehicle Voltron force.  I'm not sure if they'll actually go down that path but it'd be interesting if they did.

I'm also wondering where Lotor's generals are going to end up. They betrayed Hagar, it was a mutual split of sorts with Lotor. They've seen the monster he is. Hagar is unlikely to forgive them considering they more/less tried to kill her.

This leaves the Voltron force, the blade of Mamorra, and Sendac. The last one to me is the most likely but would not rule out the Voltron force.
