How Do You Change Boot Sound?

Using root explorer, go to /system/media and replace droidhd.ogg with whatever you want instead. Just rename the new file to droidhd.

Im using razrx, and when i changed the bootanimation the boot sound stopped working? Also i couldnt find a sound file called droidhd. <br /><br />Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

Edit: ok i just took my bootanimation off and it looks like razrx doesnt have a boot sound, going to try adding my sound file and naming it the way you said.

Didnt work ..i think the text file needs to be changed somehow to call up the sound file. Beyond my skills though.
