I'm loving Tyr, some of the better Viking Metal I've listened to.

It's been a while since I've heard some Tyr. I typically go Amon Amarth when I'm in the viking mood. Eluveitie is pretty good for celtic metal, or at least it's different.I'm loving Tyr, some of the better Viking Metal I've listened to.

Regular radio stations in my area suck. Pandora tried to get me to listen to too many bands I already knew I didn't like - it really needs a "Don't show me anymore bands like XXXX" setting. Just because I happen ot like one song in a particular genre does NOT mean I want to listen to everything in that genre.
SXM changed all that. I completely stopped using Pandora.

Lol... They probably were but 2 solid records and a grueling relentless tour schedule has changed that. Plus Lzzy is smoking hot and her voice is just as awesome. Her brother on drums is a monster.

I'll admit, I would never have heard of a lot of the music I listen to now if it were not for Octane and Liquid Metal on SiriusXM radio.

I love Sirius...although I mostly listen to Liquid Metal, there are some good stations.

Amon Amarth is a little too heavy for me. Eluveitie is anything if not unique lol Having trouble deciding whether I like it or not.

Amon Amarth is good. How about Bloodaxe?
