And since I was technically a little late on yesterdays I'll post another one.
2-20-2012 -
Upon meeting an unfamiliar feline, a cat will blink and look away to the right. So when trying to make friends with a cat, blink and look to the right. And since I am on the topic I'll share another tidbit with you all. Cat's have two distinct pitches that they meow and pur with, one for other cats and strangers, and the one that they used as kittens that they still use with their owners.

It was brought to my attention that I never updated this, so here's a slew of them for today...

- The average lifespan of an American dollar is 18 months
- Baby elephants have a set of tusks called 'milk tusks' that fall out about a year (I think, off the top of my head) after birth.
- 'Eyelash Mites' are little grub looking things that jam themselves into the pores around your eye and eat dead skin cells and oils. And 2/3s of everyone has them.
- Most dust is just dead skin cells

FACT: I have an inmate un-restrained w/ 5 convicted murders on his rap sheet sitting 3 feet from me carrying on a conversation with the other officer working with me. Oh and he likes sexually assaulting lil' dudes.

True.. it's crazy how that works out.
With the SOPA stuff they wanted to set it up so you could get more prison time for uploading a Michael Jackson song than the doctor that killed him got.
Anyways, I'll stop taking up techno's random fact thread now.
